New York hardcore legends AGNOSTIC FRONT have announced the upcoming release of a Don Fury demo session from 1983.
From the band...
Unearthed in the deep backwoods of New Jersey by the Radio Raheem staff in their never-ending pursuit of lost hardcore artifacts, “Time Will Come” includes 14 tracks recorded live to tape in late 1983 at Don Fury’s Demo Demo studio, and features a mix of songs from AF’s previously released “United Blood” EP and the yet-to-be-recorded “Victim In Pain” LP. The lineup also marks the transitional period between the two records, with new drummer Dave Jones joining Roger, Vinnie and “United Blood” bassist Adam Mucci. Remastered from the original, very well preserved TDK cassette and sounding just as fresh and urgent in 2026 as it did 43 years prior.
Released by the band on their Last Warning imprint in conjunction with Radio Raheem, Generation Records (NYC) and Coretex Records (Berlin).
From Radio Raheem...
A couple years back while we were assembling the "Ancient Artifax" book, a curious cassette tape surfaced from the archives of an early NJ/NYC hardcore guitarist, featuring Skinhead Youth's infamous March 3, 1984 CBGB set on the A-side, with simply "Agnostic Front" written on the B-side label. We assumed the AF side would be their set from the same show (which at the time we had never heard, but was later released on LP by our pals at Generation Records), but to the amazement of our collective ears the tape contained a previously-unknown (or more likely, completely forgotten) live studio session. After some discussion with the band, we determined this session was recorded around the end of 1983 at Don Fury's, and featured Roger and Vinnie being joined by bassist Adam Mucci and "new" drummer Dave Jones. The sound quality and performance are both excellent as the band blazes through a mix of tracks from United Blood and the yet-to-be-recorded Victim In Pain.
