Life Lair Regret and The Omission have teamed up for the May release of the debut LP for Melbourne band MINDRACE.

Melbourne’s Mindrace return with nine tracks of melodic hardcore, taking inspiration from genre stalwarts Turning Point, In My Eyes, Side by Side and Bold.

Since 2023, Mindrace have honed their sound through playing up and down the east coast of Australia. 2026 sees the band team up with Melbourne labels Omission and life.lair.regret. for their debut LP coming this May.

Streaming everywhere now, band vocalist Scott had this to say on the significance of the release being available for everyone to hear on April 7th 'It's special for me personally to release this record on the day honoring Cheng Nan Jung, the very same day he set himself on fire before his arrest by authoritarian regime in 1989 Taiwan, now marks Freedom of Speech Day. Self-expression and embracing difference are the heart of everything we say. We dedicate this record to those making a change for the better in their own ways; we see you, and we love you'
