From the label...

There are bands that are considered trailblazers of new genres and styles, and over thirty years ago Conviction were an example of that are are considered one of the most influential straight edge hardcore bands of the early 90's.

Pennsylvania scene bred Conviction, managed to push late-'80s classic hardcore toward darker, gloomier sounds while retaining speed and aggression.

This 12" compiles the band's two 7"s: 1991's "A Question Of Commitment," that is sonically still rooted in the late '80s California vibe of Hard Stance, Pushed Aside, and Against the Wall, and 1993's self-titled 7", which takes a darker turn into the realm of Integrity and Judge. Imported from Germany.
