Late last year, Down By Law signed to DC Jam Records , home to JFA and Fishbone and started preparing for their new album that is now titled “Champions at Heart” due out real soon.

The home page of DC Jam Records recently revealed some more information on the release with the only confirmed release date of "Summer 2012", the album is set to be called Champions At Heart. You can see the cover art below, along with a video of a performance from back in October.

The band has not released a studio album since their 2003 “windwardtidesandwaywardsails”.
