Serving as a taster to their forthcoming LP, out later this year on Poison City Records, Dark Fair are excited to share their newvideo for, “Off Into My Head”.

Since forming in 2012 the project of two friends, Ramona Moore on guitar and Ellie Dunn on drums, have built a name for themselves with their idiosyncratic knack for writing brooding yet poppy rock songs, which has seen them release two EPs and support the likes of Sleater-Kinney, Veruca Salt, Adalita and Jen Cloher.

On their debut LP, Off Into My Head, the duo delivers ten tight and driving slices of alt-rock. Their ability to blend a decadent amount of edge and shimmery grunge pop is highlighted on the release, while exploring topics of mental illness, (“Off Into My Head”), gun violence (“Distance In The Line”), and freedom from conformity (“Nothing Can Break Me”). But it’s not all gloom – messages of hope, love and resilience underlie the tracks.

Co-produced by Adalita Srsen and Marieca Page, Off Into My Head was recorded in multiple locations over the best part of a year and mixed by Lindsay Gravina.

The film clip below for "Off Into My Head" which sees a troubled pup visit a dog therapist was directed by Vanessa Cox.

After a productive year of writing and recording, Dark Fair are ready to start unveiling their debut LP to the world. “Off Into My Head” is out everywhere, Friday June 29 on Poison City Records and will be launched live at The Cactus Room, on July 21.
