Radio Birdman, legendary Australian underground band and one of the pioneers of the high energy rock n roll scene, have repressed their 2014 CD Box Set of formidable back catalogue, making it available again from December 1st 2017 through Citadel Records. Following the cinematic release of Descent into the Maelstrom - The Radio Birdman Documentary, renewed interest has become so high that a repress has been undertaken. The outer box now has a red background to distinguish it from the original Box that had a black background.

The Box Set contains the three studio albums Radios Appear (Trafalgar and Sire versions) and Living Eyes, all remastered at the time from original tapes and each accompanied by a standalone bonus disc. Much of the bonus disc material was previously unreleased and provides a treasure trove of material for diehard fans.

The seventh disc to make up the box set is a live concert recorded at Paddington Town Hall in December 1977 just before the band's departure for the UK to tour and promote their Sire release of Radios Appear. This live recording was mixed from master tapes that had languished forgotten for decades. The result is a totally wild and raw release that captures the bands true primal energy. The bonus accompanying this disc is an all regions PAL-format DVD of live footage; two clips from the December 77 PTH concert, another from a previous PTH concert in April 77; two obscure 76 Macquarie Uni tracks; plus a promotional video made to celebrate the 1988 release of the WEA LP box set Under The Ashes.
