Conation and 90s South Australian punk heroes 99 Reasons Why will be headlining a particularly special Scumfest, coined ‘The Re-union Edition’.
On November 26, Adelaide’s Punk Festival will return to the Old Queen’s Theatre in all it’s filthy glory, and this time around we bring back to life some old friends of yesteryear.
Over the past 12 months we’ve managed to convince a bunch of legendary punk acts to re-unite and smash out some classic sets. Punk favourites The Jerks will re-band for one-show-only together with Adelaide’s favourite punk-uncles the Blood Sucking Freaks. Plus the hardcore metal groovers of the late 90’s Three Chain Break will be demonstrating the early days of the metal-hardcore cross-over. Together with Conation and 99 Reasons Why this year will re-unite your inner-teenage punk and pay tribute to the bands that inspired us many moons ago.
Joining these old punk-geezers of Adelaide will be ‘dads-favourite-beach-ball
Of course, it wouldn’t be Scumfest without live screen-printing, visual art, craft beer, wine and good food would it? This year we have a wondrous collection of visual artists conceptualising the entire festival plus Tooth & Nail filthying up your otherwise plain tee’s and quality local breweries and wine for sufficient indulgence throughout the day.
