Melbourne's Warbrain are made up of members from Carpathian, Iron Mind and Thorns and offer up their debut full length release of 12 songs. This release picks up where their "Paranoia" 7inch left off. Think Madball and Hatebreed mixed with Throwdown perhaps? A lot of the tracks tend to blend into one another for me, but songs like "Evil Eyes", "Origins" and the title track divert from the norm and are more appealing. When Warbrain step outside the formula and experiement a little with a guitar lead here or there, or a change in structure, they prove they are capable of bigger things, I kinda wish they did it more often. Overall solid release that will please their fans.
