Adelaide five piece Reactions offer up their debut EP featuring six songs. Having previously released a split EP with Concepts, on their latest outing, Reactions show a whole new level of maturity and approach to their song writing. Reactions play a modern day style of downtuned heavy hardcore that sounds influenced by the likes of Trapped Under Ice, Expire and Backtrack. I really like the creative intro to this record, though it kind of misleads what is to come. Huge production sound on this release, backed by a very listenable vocal delivery and phrasing.This features a lot of slow chugga breakdowns mixed in with the music and would please a fan of the influences above.
