Melbourne black metal machine, Colossvs have come a long way in a short time.
The release of their debut album Unholy in late 2014 saw them complete their own headline tour early this year and they have been unrelenting ever since.
Supporting international death metal luminaries such as Goatwhore, Suffocation and Decapitated, chaotic French acts Birds In Row and Calvaiire and fellow Australian acts including Aversions Crown, Whitehorse, Whoretopsy, Ruins and Hadal Maw. Most recently, they completed a national tour with King Parrot and High Tension and are now embarking on another national run this time with death metal titans The Black Dahlia Murder & Australian technical wizards, Psycroptic.
Colossvs have also wasted no time taking their savagery to the international stage with two tours of South East Asia, the most recent in March this year. Taking in Thailand and Malaysia ahead of appearing at the Hammersonic International Metal Festial in Indonesia along side Lamb of God, Mayhem, Unearth, Vader, Warbringer, The Faceless and many more.
With influences ranging from Behemoth, Integrity, Dimmu Borgir, At The Gates, Converge, Satyricon, and Ringworm, the bands musical scope is set wide across the darker and extreme ends of metal and hardcore.
A vicious attack on the church, Unholy is vividly satanic, drawing upon the pages of history to paint scenes of death and mental anguish, before peaking with a fantastical war between heaven and hell.
